Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy for Blended Training Courses
📚 Blended Courses:
- ❌ Cancellation: Non-refundable once registered due to the inclusion of an online component.
- 🔄 Rescheduling: The in-class portion can be rescheduled for a $45.00 administrative fee per person, provided the request is made with more than 7 business days’ notice prior to the in-class session.
🏫 Regular In-Class Training Courses (No Online Component):
- ✅ Cancellation/Rescheduling: Permitted without penalty if requested more than 7 business days in advance.
- ⚠️ Late Requests: A $45.00 administrative fee per person applies if the request is made within 7 business days of the course start date.
Please ensure cancellations or rescheduling requests are made within the outlined timeframes to avoid additional charges.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy for Regular In-class Courses (non blended courses)
💵 Cancellation/Rescheduling Fee:
- There is a $45.00 fee (per person) to cancel or reschedule your booking.
⏳ Final and Non-Refundable:
- All bookings are final and non-refundable 48 hours before your course start date.
📚 Blended Training Courses (Half Online / Half In-Class):
- No cancellations or rescheduling can be made within 48 hours of your course start date.
Please ensure any changes to your booking are made with sufficient notice to avoid additional charges.

IF YOU ARE LATE FOR A COURSE:
⏰ Late Arrival Policy:
- Ottawa First Aid CPR understands that unexpected circumstances may cause delays.
- However, in accordance with Canadian Red Cross standards, participants must attend 100% of the in-class session to be eligible for certification.
🚫 No Admission After Course Begins:
- If you arrive after the course has started, you will not be admitted into the session.
- ❌ Forfeiture of Registration: This will result in the forfeiture of your registration, and no refund will be provided.
Please ensure timely arrival to complete the course and receive certification.
